Attorney Shen is the managing partner of Ling Chuang. Before that, he worked as a researcher in Chinese Academy of Science and as a patent attorney in Liu Shen, a prestigious Chinese IP law firm. With nearly 20 years of practice, he has served numerous renowned domestic and international technology companies, and handled over a thousand patent cases across China, the U.S., Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
Attorney Shen is well-versed in various types of intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, trademark infringement, patent reexamination and invalidation, patent administrative litigation, and patent ownership disputes. He is one of the few lawyers in China who has successfully handled intellectual property cases involving criminal liability and achieved favorable outcomes for client.
Additionally, Attorney Shen also specializes in designing intellectual property protection strategies for clients, providing patent validity analyses, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and patent infringement assessment reports.
Outside of work, Attorney Shen is a serious enthusiast in long-distance running, having participated in numerous running events across the country and finished half-marathons more than 10 times.
